Meta will launch a physical store to display products
Before changing its name as Meta, Facebook was planning to launch its own retail store. The social media company has also discussed the possibility. The New York Times reports that this time it is being implemented quite loudly.
According to a report published in GSM Arena, talks have been going on since last year to open a physical shop. However, nothing has been finalized yet, it is said that the project is at the end of the initial stage.
Although Meta Physical Outlets will be launched, these outlets will be operated not to sell products like other retail shops but to give experience to devices made by their own reality lab division.
And the current devices made by Reality Lab include Oculus Quest (soon to be named Meta Quest), a virtual reality headset and a portal gadget designed for video calling. There will also be AR Smart Glass made by Facebook and Ray-Ban.
